Instagram DM Agent
An AI agent that answers Instagram DMs, qualifies leads and books calls, so no lead is left waiting.
1. It writes every reply
The agent writes each reply based on your sales script and the info you give it (services, common questions, tone of voice, etc.), so every lead goes through the same process.
2. You decide what gets sent
Every reply waits for your approval by default. Automated mode can send replies for you, and holds back anything risky (price questions, contact details, long messages, etc.).
3. It keeps track of every lead
Each lead is tracked from the first message to a booked call, with their stage, a lead score, follow-ups and call reminders all in one place.

Hey Ben, saw you booked the intro call on Thursday. Looking forward to it! Before then, have a think about what worked the last time and what made it slip.

Has written to you before. The keyword DM went out; this check-in goes behind it.

Turn, an Instagram DM agent
You run a coaching business. Turn answers your Instagram DMs, writes each reply from your sales script and keeps track of every lead. Take a quick tour: six clicks, about a minute.
What Turn Does
Turn was first commissioned for a coaching business that gets most of its clients through Instagram DMs. Every new lead needs a quick reply and qualifying questions that move them through the sales process. When done manually, this process takes a lot of time and leads can easily be missed or left unanswered.
Turn was built to improve and automate as much of the process as possible. The customized UI was built to display the most important information, and sorts each chat by who needs to reply. Turn also scores each lead, and writes the next reply from the sales script and company info provided during setup. You can send it, edit it or write your own. It also lines up follow-ups, sends call reminders, and answers comments and keyword messages on its own.
Automated mode was built to be configurable to match the needs of the team, and can be turned on and off with ease. The app is currently live on a paying client's account, and a case study is being conducted to get hard metrics on the improved performance.
How It Is Built
Turn is a TypeScript app built on Next.js with a SQLite database. A second process works through a queue of jobs (reading new messages, sending replies, etc.), and the screen updates live as they finish.
Turn connects to Instagram through Meta's official Instagram API, signed in with Instagram Login. New DMs and comments arrive through Meta's webhooks as they are sent, and replies go back out through the same API, inside Meta's 24 hour reply window and rate limits.
Two Claude models do the reading and writing through the Anthropic API. Haiku reads each chat and decides its stage, score and summary, and Sonnet writes the replies. Everything else (sorting chats, the reply window, send pacing, follow-ups, etc.) is plain code, so it costs nothing to run.
